Fence Installer

 Job Description 

IET Systems is an industry leader seeking full-time Fence Installers for immediate hire. Our work week is Monday-Friday from 7 am to 4 pm. Work consists of installing all types of fences and gates including aluminum, wood, and chain-link. All tools and training will be provided. This position does require extensive travel. Full benefits including health, dental insurance, and 401K are offered. Pay depends on your experience. 

Core Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Installing and working with various types of commercial/industrial fencing and gates 

• Digging holes 

• Pouring/bagging concrete 

• Building forms 

• Load and unload various sizes of material 

• Clean up equipment at the completion of each day 

• Work proactively and in a positive manner with all co-workers 

• Ability to solve practical problems and carry out responsibilities without supervision 

• Other Duties will be at management’s discretion 

The Superior Candidate will: 

• Be organized and detail-oriented with stable job history 

• Have fencing, framing, roofing, or carpentry experience 

• Have a positive attitude with excellent customer service skills 

• Ability to demonstrate good diagnostic skills assessment, problem-solving and decision making 

• Ability to listen carefully and follow instruction 

• Ability to meet deadlines 

• Exhibit a positive attitude 

• Willingness to work days, nights, and weekends as the project requires 

• Self-motivated and excellent work ethic 

Qualifications: 

• Must have a valid Driver’s License 

• Clean driving record with no violations 

• Previous fencing or carpentry experience preferred 

• Must be 21 years of age 

• Must be able to pass a background check, drug screening, and MVR check 

• Must be able to travel (90 percent) 

• Reliable transportation 

• Physical fitness for heavy lifting, working in the heat
