Don Gantt
President
Don Gantt is the President of IET Systems, Inc. He has had extensive experience in the management of wireless security and technological businesses. He has been involved in nearly every aspect of the security and satellite communications industry over the last 30 years. Gantt has had extensive experience in the implementation, operation, and maintenance of large commercial communications networks and security systems for several major national companies and government agencies, including the Alabama State Port Authority, Mobile Police Department, BellSouth, Shell Oil, Georgia Pacific, IBM, Department of Justice, NASA and others.
Tim Barnes
Vice President of Perimeter Security Solutions
Tim has managed, designed, installed, and programmed various solutions for high-security projects since 2006. He takes pride in his work and strives to be the best in designing and consulting all high-security perimeter solutions specializing in crash rated products such as gates, wedge barriers, bollards, arms, beams, and fences. He also has extensive knowledge in designing commercial and industrial security systems that include surveillance camera systems, access control, turnstiles, and Mass Notification Systems. He is certified in various solutions including Pelco, Milestone, Genetec, and Proximex, just to name a few. A few previous projects managed by Tim include the Alabama State Port Authority, a base camp project in Port au Prince, Haiti, Fulton Prison, Marine Base Quantico, VA, Federal Reserve Bank in El Paso, TX, and several FL national guard locations.
Nick Dearman
Vice President of Industrial Solutions and Critical Infrastructure
Nick Dearman came to IET Systems in 2006 with an impressive 10 years of high-voltage electrical experience. Since that time, Nick has held a unique trifecta qualification by having experience in high-voltage, low-voltage, and fiber optics! He is a certified tower climber and rescuer, COMTRAIN certified, certified Corner Fiber Broadband technician, and has extensive experience with using and deploying Genetec software and access control systems. In addition, Nick is well-versed in alternative power methods including solar power and wireless tower solutions. Nick’s portfolio includes extensive experience designing, installing, and managing security integration projects. These projects include but are not limited to access control, gates, surveillance camera systems, turnstiles with canopies, guard shacks, and guard rail lights in commercial and industrial environments. His dedication, workmanship, loyalty, and valuable skill set make him a great asset to the company.
The experience Nick Dearman brings to IET Systems is impressive, but it is the drive behind Nick’s customer relationships that sets him apart from the rest. Nick’s 10 to 14-year-long relationships are standard with most of his customers. This keeps him as a point person for multi-industrial and petroleum sites across the Southeast. Nick’s customers know that he is dependable, responsive, and extremely knowledgeable. Perry Cowart
Chief Operating Officer, COO
Perry Cowart is the Chief Operating Officer for IET Systems. He specializes in providing complex technology solutions for underdeveloped regions or remote areas that have experienced natural disasters. His business development projects have taken him to areas such as Argentina, Peru, Lima, Guyana, Venezuela, South Korea, South Africa, and Spain. Perry’s experience working in the defense construction industry and in the commission and operations of Oil and Gas facilities worldwide, complements the expertise level of the IET Systems team. His knowledge, experience, and taut leadership, ensure projects are executed as expected from design, implementation, to final completion. His direct oversight and involvement with local and foreign governments, and regulatory agencies for the purpose of project approvals, permits, construction, and continued operations enables him to fully understand the exact needs and requirements of our international business sector. From mass notification systems, communication towers, security solutions, and industrial fiber infrastructure networks, Perry can offer the solution required. He has worked with clients that include Seadrill, ENSCO, Pacific Drilling, Subsea 7, BP, McDermott, Transocean, Noble Drilling, Atwood Oceanics, BAE Systems, Evoniks, Mitsubishi Poly, Shell Northrop Grumman, and Huntington Ingalls.
Denys Driver
Project Supervisor
Denys has been a critical team performer since 2011. He has managed several major projects with IET Systems since that time and is our go-to person for major programming systems integration projects. He brings much experience to the table and not only supervises the teams he leads but also works hand-in-hand with his team. Making him a valuable leader, mentor, and expert teacher. Denys started with IET Systems as an installer but quickly made his way to becoming one of our best Project Supervisors and invaluable team members. His skills include strategic planning, project management, and building complex security solutions for our military, commercial, and industrial clients. He is well respected, works efficiently, and is always ready to lend a helping hand. With Denys supervising our projects, we rest peacefully knowing our clients are in good hands.
Kelley Nolen
Executive Vice President of Operations
Kelley Nolen is the Executive Vice President of Operations for IET Systems. She specializes in innovative technology solutions for the Multi-family industry and Automated Metering Infrastructure (AMI) tower solutions for private and public sectors. Kelley’s impressive career with IET started in 2009 where she was working in the residential security division. Her attention to detail and thirst for knowledge catapulted her into overseeing and managing 6 offices that included over 100 field technicians in IETs Dish Network division. When the Dish division of the company was sold, Kelley used her past experience in the security field to take on Project Management of high security projects for IET Systems. Her projects include Lake Charles School District, Switch Data Center, Protovision, City of Tavares, projects at undisclosed Military bases, and various Multi-family Critical Infrastructure projects. Kelley is a hands-on manager that throughly thinks through projects with a budget conscious rationalism that keeps her projects on schedule and her clients satisfied. She is consistently striving to learn more to offer the latest solutions to her customers and efficient processes for her team.
