Project Manager

Job Description 

IET Systems is looking for a Project Manager to be responsible for the generation and implementation of all construction field polices and procedures, along with the continuous interfacing with sales, accounting, purchasing, and management to achieve company goals. This position does require travel and offers excellent benefits. 

Core Duties and Responsibilities: 

• • Review drawings and create installation plan. 
• • Hands on assisting the team with job tasks. 
• • Manage 5-20+ employees in the field. 
• • Manages and supervises construction activities in the field. 
• • Delegating tasks and maintaining work schedule. 
• • Preparing and presenting important construction data and reports when required. 
• • Ensure that the team meets all safety standards in accordance with OSHA and state. 
• • Oversee field operations, productions time, and ensure quality controls are being met. 
• • Work with supervisors and management to facilitate daily projects and project needs. 
• • Provide quality control oversight on projects assigned. 
• • Responsible for training employees, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding, and discipling employees, addressing complaints, and resolving problems. 
• • Checking the materials needed for the project and placing orders with the office as needed. 
• • Responsibility for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the team and job project. 
• • Ensuring project completion as per the assigned timeline and budget. 
• • Other duties will be at management discretion. 

The Superior Candidate will: 

• • Have 1-2 years’ experience as a Project Manager. 
• • Be a detailed oriented and highly motivated individual. 
• • Have good time management skills. 
• • Have the ability to work in a team as well as independently. 
• • Have the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. 

• • Be able to perform the above for at least 8 hours per day 5 days per week. May be required to work overtime, after hours, on weekends, for emergencies, or on-call 
• • Have the ability to work in adverse weather conditions which can include but is not limited to extreme heat and cold temperatures, inclement weather, and adverse driving conditions. 
• • Demonstrate good diagnostic skills assessment, problem solving and decision making. 
• • Have the ability to listen carefully and follow instructions. 
• • Be able to follow and establish safe work practices. 
• • Have excellent leadership skills. 

Qualifications: 

• • Must have a valid Driver’s License 
• • 3-5 years of construction experience (fencing, concrete, etc.) 
• • Clean driving record with no violations 
• • Must be 21 years of age. 
• • Must have a high school diploma or GED. 
• • Must be able to pass background, drug screening, and MVR check. 
• • Must be able to travel (90 Percent) 
• • Reliable transportation 
• • Proven work experience as a Project Manager. 
• • Knowledge of the construction industry procedures and guidelines
